Marc Wassung is the owner and founder of the catering company, Banqueteurs. Marc has been a chef for more than 20 years. He started out as a sous chef at Linger Longer in Johannesburg, and then travelled the world as a private chef to renowned business man, Michael Wrap. He then settled in Cape Town, and opened a coffee shop- Cafe Bodega. And thereafter opened the popular bakery in Green Point. He then decided to go into catering, and worked for Gourmet company.After his experience, he decided to start his own catering company. He now runs the successful company, Banqueteurs.
His philosophy on food is simple- fresh, seasonal ingredients, good quality meat and fish cooked in a simple and elegant way. His professional kitchen team, will prepare any menu, from a simple spread of healthy dishes, to a decadent feast of cuisine at any location- be it a dinner party in the comfort of the client’s own home, or a lavish function in a unique setting.
